SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
BUSINESS SESSION:
Mayor Kramer called the Special Meeting of the City Council of the
City of San Juan Capistrano to order at 6:35 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
Council Member Allevato led the Pledge of Allegiance.

and Mayor Allevato
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Derek Reeve

CONSENT CALENDAR:
Council Action: Moved by Council Member Freese, seconded by Council Member
Allevato, and carried 4-0 with Council Member Reeve absent to approve consent
calendar item 1 as recommended by staff.
PURCHASE OF REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE FILTERS IN THE AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED $225,000 FROM TORAY MEMBRANE USA, INC.,
AUTHORIZED; AND REQUIRED BIDDING PROCESS, WAIVED
(CITY COUNCIL URGENT STRATEGIC PRIORITY) (330.70)

A Closed Session was held for the following purposes, as authorized by statute:
a. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, the City Council conducted a public
employee performance evaluation of the City Attorney.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLOSED SESSION ACTIONS: Mayor Kramer announced that
the City Council accepted the resignation of Woodruff, Spradlin and Smart for
City Attorney Services, effective August 27, 2012.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, Mayor Kramer adjourned the meeting at
7:04 p.m. to Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. for Closed Session and
6:00 p.m. for a public Business Session, in the City Council Chamber.
