J Mayor Allevato called the Special Meeting of the San Juan Capistrano
City Council to order at 3:36 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
ROLL CALL:
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Roy L. Byrnes, M.D., Derek Reeve, John Taylor,
Mayor pro tem Larry Kramer and Mayor Sam Allevato
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: None.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.
PRESENTATION:
C1. PRESENTATION FROM ROGERS, ANDERSON, MALODY & SCOTT FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 2012-13 AUDIT REPORTS, RECEIVED AND FILED (310.30)
Terry Shea, Rogers, Anderson, Malody & Scott, provided a PowerPoint
presentation and responded to questions.
Council Action: Moved by Council Member Byrnes, seconded by Council
Member Taylor, and carried unanimously to receive and file the presentation
from Rogers, Anderson, Malody & Scott for the Fiscal Year 2012-13 audit
reports.
DISCUSSION ITEM:
D1. CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO'S FIRST QUARTER FINANCIAL REPORT
FOR THE PERIOD FROM JULY 1, 2013, THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2013,
AND UPDATE ON THE CITY COUNCIL'S PRIORITIES, RECEIVED AND FILED
(330.20)
Cindy Russell, Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer, and Michelle Bannigan,
Assistant Finance Director, provide a PowerPoint presentation and responded to
questions.
Council Action: Moved by Council Member Reeve, seconded by Mayor pro tem
Kramer, and carried unanimously to receive and file the City of San Juan
Capistrano's First Quarter Finance Report for the period of July 1, 2013, through
September 30, 2013, and an update on the City Council's priorities.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mayor Allevato adjourned the meeting at 4:36 p.m. to the Regular Meeting of Tuesday,
January 21, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. for Closed Session, and 6:00 p.m. for Public Business
Session in the City Council Chamber.
