ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
Mayor Allevato called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the San Juan Capistrano
-- City Council to order at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
ROLL CALL:
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Roy L. Byrnes, M.D., Derek Reeve, John Taylor,
Mayor pro tem Larry Kramer and Mayor Sam Allevato
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: None.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.
DISCUSSION ITEM:
C1. DISCUSSION AND REVIEW OF INITIAL FINANCIAL INFORMATION AND
POLICIES RELATED TO THE WATER AND SEWER RATE STUDY

Francie Kennedy, Water Conservation Coordinator, provided a staff report and
responded to questions. Sanjay Gaur, Raftelis Financial Consultants, and Keith
Van Der Maaten, Public Works and Utilities Director, provided a PowerPoint
presentation and responded to questions.
• Public Comments: Thomas Whaling, City resident; Christine Speed, City
resident; Jim Reardon, City resident; John Campbell, City resident; and,
Miriam Donnelly, City resident.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mayor Allevato adjourned the meeting at 8:27 p.m. to the Special Meeting of Tuesday,
Janua 21, 2 14, at 3:30 p.m.; and then to the Regular Meeting of Tuesday, January
21, 20 4, at :00 p.m. for Closed Session, and 6:00 p.m. for Public Business session in
the Ciou cil Chamber.
