ORDINANCE NO. 52
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE NO,
5, BY ESTABLISHING CERTAIN FEES TO COVER HANDL_
ING COSTS OF ZONING REQUESTS AND LAND USE PERM-
ITS PROCEDURES.
The City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. That to promote general welfare and classify, regulate,
restrict and separate the use of land, buildings and structures in pro-
viding for the orderly growth of the City of San Juan Capistrano, and -
to properly provide for the fiscal and administrative d$tails connected
with zoning. City Ordinance No. 5 is hereby amended by adding thereto
paragraph D to Section 4 thereof to read as follows:-
"D". FEES.
(1) That to cover costs of investigations, advertising, printing
and publishing, a fee of $150 shall be paid to the City of San Juan Ca-
pistrano by all individuals, corporations, partnerships or other entit-
ies at the time of filling a renuest for zoning or rezoning of any areas
or parcels of land lying within the City of San Juan Capistrano. Such
fee will not be reimbursable whether or not the requested zoning is ap-
proved.
(2) That a fee of $25 shall be paid to the City of San Juan Capi-
strano by all individuals, corporations, partnerships or entities at
the time of filling a request for land use permits or variances of any
parcel of land lying within the City of San Juan Capistrano. Such fee
will not be reimbursed whether or not the request is approved and shall
apply within all zones including "U-1 Unclassified District".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately for the
following reasons:
The City of San Juan Capistrano does not have funds available to
pay for the costs hereinabove set forth and the immediate imposition
of such fees is necessary to defray such expenses.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify tothe passage and adopt-
ing of this Ordinance by the City Council of the City of San Juan Capi-
strano at a regular meeting held on the 9th day of July, 1962, and shall
cause the same to be published in the Coastline Dispatch within fifteen

days after its passage.
