low the surface of any land zoned with the symbol OR. Said symbol shall
stand for the phrase "Oil Restricted".
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adopt-
ion of this ordinance by the City of San Juan Capistrano at a regular
meeting held on the 26th day of March, 1962, and shall cause the same
to he published in the Coastline Dispatch within fifteen days after its
passage.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN
CAPISTRANO AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS.. 39
AND 45 BY AMENDING THE SECTIONS THERE-
IN REFERRING TO FRONT, SIDE AND REAR
YARD REQUIREMENTS.
The City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1.

Section No. 3. (e) of Ordinance No. 39 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"(e) BUILDING SITE REQUIRED. Except as otherwise provided by City
Ordinance, a minimum building site for dwelling purposes shall be seven-
ty-two hundred square feet (7200 sq. ft.)
"Front, side and rear yard set backs are hereby established as fo-
flows:
"(1) All buildings and structures shall have a minimum set back
of tdenty.feet (20') from the front property line.
"(2) No building or other structure shall be erected closer than
five feet (51) from the side property line.
"(3) The depth of the rear yard shall not be less than twenty-five
feet (25')".
SECTION 2.
Section No. 3, F, (e) of Ordinance No. 39 is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"(e) BUILDING SITE REQUIREMENTS. Except as otherwise provided by

SECTION 3.
Section D, 3, of the R-1, the R-2 and the R-3 District Regulations
of Ordinance No. 45 are hereby amended, respectively to.read as follows:
"D, 3. Front, side and rear ,yard set -backs are hereby established
as follows:
"(a) All buildings and structures shall have a minimum set back
of twenty feet (201) from the front property line.
"(b) No building or other structure shall be erected closer than
- five feet (5') from the side property line.
"(c) The depth of the rear yard shall not be less than twenty-five
feet (25')
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days
from and after its passage, and prior to the expiration of Sift -en (15)
days after the passage thereof, this Ordinance shall be published once
in the Coastline Dispatch, a newspaper printed in San Juan Capistrano,
County of Orange, State of California, together with the names of the
members of the City Councilmen voting for and against t�e same.
