THEREOF,
The City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. There is hereby ,.dopted the City Council of the
City of San Juan Capistrano for the purpose of requiring permits for
and ;,roviding rules and regulations governing electrical installation
and wiring, in the City of San Juan Capistrano, kfown as "ORDINANCE
NO 1222, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CO:i`iTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
RECUIRING PERMITS FOR AND PROVI=iG RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS AND WIRING; ADOPTING lY REFERENCE THOSE CER-
TAIN REGULATIONS ENTITLED 'ELECTRICAL SAFETY ORLER OF T,TE STATE 01'
CALIFORNIA', EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1955, IS-71PD BY TNF .STATE OF CALIFORNIA

Clerk, and are open to public insnection. the same are adopted hereby
and incorgo rated herein as though fully setforth in length.
SECTION 2. This ordinance is an ordinance for the immediate ore- �
servation of the public peace, health and safety and the following is
a declaration of the facts constitutint; the urgency.
The Cit}, of San Juan Capistrano, a ruoicipal corporation, became
duly incorporated on the 19t1 day of Aril, 1751. On said date the
rules, regulations and ordinrnces of the County of Orange that were in
effect and operative in the area within the boundaries of the present

City of San Juan Capistrano are no longer of any £or -:e or effect by
reason of the i.icerpors.tion of the city, In order that the :utlic will
be protected i,mediately, it is necessary that this Ordinance be adopted
as an urgency-ieasure.
SECTION 3. This ordinance .shall take effect immediately and with-
in fifteen (15) days shall be published in the Coastline Dis.,atch, to-
gether with the ns,ies of the Cit}, Councilmen voting for and against the
stone.
