ORDINANCE NO. 224
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JUAN CAPISTRANO EXTENDING ORDINANCE NO. 214 FOR A
PERIOD OF AN ADDITIONAL EIGHT MONTHS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
.SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 214 heretofore adopted on
December -26,1972, is hereby extended for an additional eight months
pursuant to Section 65858 of the Government Code.
SECTION 2. Urgency. This ordinance is an urgency ordinance
for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, welfare
and safety adopted in accordance with Section 65858 of the Govern-
ment Code, and shall take effect immediately. The facts constituting
the urgency are as follows: _
The Planning Commission of the City of San Juan Capistrano is
currently studying the revision of the Zoning,Ordinance for the City _
of San Juan Capistrano., particularly the open space requirements
for planned developments as set forth in Sections 4.12.4 and 4.12.9
of Ordinance No. 115. In the interim, however, the City requires
an ordinance providing a clarification and definition of "open space"
which will apply to current PD development.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this or i.nance and cause the same to be published once in a newspaper
of general circulation in the City of San Juan Capistrano within 415)
days following the passage thereof. .
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of April, 1973, by
the following vote, to wit: -
