ORDINANCE NO. 186
AN,ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO AMENDING THE "PRECISE ZONING
MAP" AS ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 115, SECTION
3.01.3, TO BE DESIGNATED AS "AMENDMENT NO. 20"
The City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano does hereby
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That to promote the general welfare and classify,
regulate, restrict and separate uses of land, buildings and structures
in providing for the orderly growth of the City of San Juan Capistrano
the "Precise Zoning Map" as adopted by_Ordinance No. 115, Section 3.01.3,
is hereby amended and designated as "Amendment No. 20111as the same is
hereinafter described.
SECTION 2. The following described land now zoned U-1 "Unclassi-
fied" District is hereby declared zoned PD "Planned Development" District:
All that certain.: land situated in the State of California, County
of Orange, City of San Juan Capistrano, described as follows:
A portion of the East -half of Section 6, Township 8 South, Range
7 West, SBB&M, described as follows:
Beginning at a round hole drilled in the concrete.pavement marking
Station No. 8 of Survey of San Juan Canyon Road, as per notes
thereof shown in Book 2, page 34 and following of Surveyor's
Records on file in the CounSy Surveyor's office of Orange County,
California, thence South 33 42' 37" East 20.03 feet to the South-
erAy right of way line of said San Juan Canyon Road; thence South
59 24' West 463.67 feet along the Southerly line of said road
to an iron pipe in the West line of that certain parcel of land
conveyed to J. J. Harriso$ by deed recorded in Book 309, page 99
.__ of Deeds, thence South 12 0' East 1458.05 feet along the, -Westerly
line of said Parcel to a concrete monument marking the Northwesterly
corner of that certain parcel conveyed to Orange County Trust &
Savings Bank by deed recorded in Book 382, page 330 of Deeds, thence
North 750 42' East 258.8 feet along the Northerly line of said
parcel; thence North 55 07' East 210.40 feet to a concrete monument
marking a point in said Northerly line of Said parcel; thence con-
tinuing along said Northerly line South 73 38' East 195.21 feet
to a concrete monument marking the most Easterly corner of said
parcel c8nveyed to Orange County Trust & Savings Bank; thence
North 59 22' East 148.66 feet to the Southwest corner of the land
shown on Licensed.Surveyor's Map filed in Book 3, page 25 of Record
of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
California; thence North 120 00' West 1711.00 feet to a point on
the said centerline of the San Juan Canyon Road; thence Westerly
along the said centerline, being along the are of a curve of a
radius 500.00 feet concave to the Southeast, a distance of 122.50
feet to a bolt marking the point of curvature of curve of said
centerline; thence continuing along said centerline South 53 11'
15" West 235.20 feet to the place of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that..portion of the above described land lying
within San Juan Canyon Road.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty (30) days from and after its passage.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption
of this Ordinance by the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano
at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 30th day of September,
1971, and shall cause the same to be published in the Coastline Dispatch
within 15 days after its passage.
