ORDINANCE NO. 150
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 108
RELATING TO A REVISION OF FRANCHISE CHARGES FOR
GABLE TELEVISION (STORER TV)
The City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano does hereby
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 14 of Ordinance No. 108 is hereby amended
to 'r aAY as follows:
"SECTION 14. The Grantee shall, during the life of this
I franchise, pay to the City of San Juan Capistrano, in lawful
money of the United States, two percent (2%) of the gross annual
receipts of the Grantee arising from the use, operation or
possession of this franchise or the sum of $1,200.00 per year,
whichever is the greater. Payment of the fees herein set forth
shall begin at once at the beginning of this franchise as to
the percentage of gross receipts and upon the effective date of
this ordinance as to the $1,200.00 per year or whichever is the
greater".
"The Grantee shall file with the City Clerk of the City of
San Juan Capistrano within three (3) months after the expir-
ation of the City's fiscal year, or fractional fiscal year,
following the effective date of the ordinance granting this
franchise, and within three (3) months after the expiration
of each and every fiscal year thereafter, a duly verified state-
ment showing in detail the total gross receipts of said grantee
during the preceding fiscal year, arising from the use, oper-
ation or possession of this franchise. Within fifteen (15)
days after the time for filing the aforesaid statement, the
Grantee shall pay to the City Treasurer of the City of San Juan
Capistrano, in lawful money of the United States, the afore-
said two percent (2%) of its gross receipts arising from the
use, operation or possession of this franchise during said
preceding fiscal year, or such fractional fiscal year, or the
sum of $1,200.00 (or its fractional amount) whichever is the
greater."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty (30) days from and after its passage, and prior to the expir-

ation of fifteen (15) days after the passage thereof, this ordinance
shall be published once in the Coastline Dispatch, a newspaper printed
in San Juan Capistrano, County of Orange, State of California, toge-
ther with the names of the members of the City Council voting thereon.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me this 23rd
day of December, 1968.
