ORDINANCE NO. 129
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO AMENDING ARTICLE II, SECTION
2 (g) OF ORDINANCE NO. 84 RELATING TO PARKING
The City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano does hereby ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2 (g) of Article II of Ordinance No. 84 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"(g) Maximum parking time limit. -
"No operator of any vehicle, including but not limited to any vehicle tractor,
truck, any piece of farm machinery or special purpose machine and any tope of
trailer, except trailer coaches which are restricted as provided in Subsection
(h) herein, shall park the vehicle on any street or highway for more than seventy-
two (72) consecutive hours. All police officers of the City of San Juan Capistrano
shall be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to remove or cause to be
removed all vehicles parked, caused to be parked or left parked upon any street
or highway for seventy-two (72) or more consecutive hours in violation of this
section, and the owner or operator of said vehicle shall be liable for any reason-
able towing and storage charges."
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days
from and after its passage and prior to the expiration of fifteen (1$) days after
the passage thereof, this Ordinance shall be published once in the Coastline
Dispatch, a newspaper printed in San Juan Capistrano, County of Orange, State of
California.
