TRASH COLLECTION RATES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 223 RELATING
TO CHARGES FOR COLLECTION OF SOLID WASTE FROM
RESIDENTIAL UNITS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. AMENDMENT 1. Section VIII of Ordinance
No. 223 be and is amended as follows:
Section VIII; Collection Charges. For solid waste
collected in the manner herein provided, the rates shall not
exceed the following;
1. Curb or roadside pickup of individual
residential units, located on a paved,
two-lane road:
Weekly Pickup; $2.50 per month
Twice Weekly Pickup: To be negotiated
with customer.
SECTION II. ESTABLISHING RATES BY RESOLUTION. The
City Council shall be authorized to set and establish or change
any of the charges and fees for solid waste collection services,
including those currently set forth in Section VIII, by
resolution.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force thirty (30) days from and after its passage thereof.

1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Sweeney, Nash, Heckscher and
Mayor Weathers
