PROVIDING FOR ']'HE ADOPTION OF
1973 EDITION OF THE PLUNBiNG CODE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO ADOPTING BY
REFERENCE ORDINANCE NO. 2743 OF THE
COUNTY OF ORANGE AND REPEALING CITY
ORDINANCE NO. 178
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby adopted by the City Council
of the City of San Juan Capistrano for the purpose of establishing
minimum regulations for the installation, maintenance, alteration
and repair of plumbing and drainage systems and the inspection
thereof, in the City of San Juan Capistrano, that certain ordinance
of the County of Orange, State of California, known as
"ORDINANCE NO. 2743,
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE,
CALIFORNIA, REPEALING THE 1970 EDI-
TION OF THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE AND
ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE 1973
EDITION OF THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE,
INCLUDING APPENDICES, AND ADOPTING
MODIFICATIONS AND AMENDMENTS THERETO."
Three (3) copies of said Ordinance and three (3) copies of said
1970 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code, including Appendices,
we on file with the City Clerk and are open to public inspection.
The same is hereby adopted and incorporated herein as though fully
set forth in length.
SECTION 2. In the event of any dispute or disagreement
as to the administration of this Ordinance the determination of
the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano shall be final.
The City of San Juan Capistrano reserves the right to waive, upon
review and determination of the City Council, any provision of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 3. Ordinance No. 178 is hereby repealed, except
that any matters commenced thereunder shall be processed to com-
pletion under its terms.
SECTION 4. Before the expiration of fifteen days after
the passage thereof, this ordinance shall be published one in
a newspaper of general circulation, with the names of the City
Council voting for and against the same.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of August,
1974, by the following vote, to wit:
