ORDINANCE NO. 250
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
DECLARING IT TO BE A MISDEMEANOR TO ENTER UPON
THE LAND OF ANOTHER WITHOUT PERMISSION THEREFOR.

FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to enter
upon, or go upon the lands of another under cultivation or enclosed
by a fence, upon uncultivated or unenclosed lands where signs for-
bidding trespassing are displayed thereon without the permission of
the owner of the said premises, or the person entitled to the use and
occupancy thereof, except in the lawful performance of an official
duty.
SECTION 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable
by a fine not to exceed $500.00 or imprisonment in the County Jail
for a period not to exceed six months, or by both such fine and im-
prisonment.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause the same to be published once in a newspaper
of general circulation within fifteen (15) days following the passage
thereof.

by the following vote, to wit:
