TRAFFIC REGULATIONS - SPEED LIMITS
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF
ORDINANCE NO. 295 PERTAINING TO TRAFFIC
REGULATIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Amendment.
Chapter 6, Article 6-1, of Ordinance No. 295 of the
City of San Juan Capistrano, California, is hereby amended to
read as follows:
CHAPTER 6.
SPEED LIMITS
Article 6-1. Establishing Speed Limits
Section 6-1.01: Prima Facie Speed Limits Declared
Pursuant to Section 22357 and 22358 of the
California Vehicle Code, prima facie speed
limits in the City of San Juan Capistrano are
hereby determined and declared as set forth
in the following sections:
Section 6-1.02: Twenty -Five Miles Per Hour

SECTION 2. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30
days after its passage.
SECTION 3. Clerk's Certification.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause same to be posted in the duly designated
posting places within the City of San Juan Capistrano within 15
days after its passage.
