REZONE 78-4 (HARRISON HOUSE/PARRA ADOBE)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 293 BY CHANGING THE
ZONING OF LOT A OF FINAL TRACT 7673 FROM RS
(SINGLE FAMILY) TO IP (PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that:
A. The City's Environmental Review Board has reviewed
the subject zone change request, has determined
that it will have a significant impact on the
environment, has found that the Environmental
Impact Report prepared for Tract 7673 adequately
addresses the impacts associated with the zone
change, and has carried out all requirements of
the California Environmental Quality Act for the
project.
B. The zone change request is consistent with the
1.4 Medium Density designation on the General
Plan Composite Land Use Map and is otherwise
consistent with the goals, objectives and policies
of the General Plan,
C. The development of the subject property under
Rezone 78-4 will conform to development standards
and other applicable provisions of Ordinance No. 293
SECTION 2. The official zoning heretofore adopted on
September T'3 —TU7 by Ordinance No. 293 is hereby amended by changing
the zoning of Lot A of Final Tract Map 7673, designated herein as
Rezone 78-4 and more particularly depicted on Exhibit,A attached
hereto, from RS (Single Family) to IP (Public Institutional).
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force 30 days after its passage.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Or mance and cause the same to be posted in the duly
designated posting places within the City of San Juan Capistrano
within 15 days after its passage.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of July
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Hausdorfer, Schwartze, Thorpe,
Buchheim and Mayor Friess
