AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 293 (SECONDHAND STORES)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 293, TO PERMIT
SECONDHAND STORES IN THE CM (COMMERCIAL MANUFACTURING)
DISTRICT SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Findings
A. The City Council finds that the land use classification
"secondhand stores" lies within the Purpose and Intent
of the CM (Commercial Manufacturing) District,
Section 3.4.15 of Ordinance No. 293, if a conditional
use permit is approved for the establishment of each
such use.
SECTION 2. Amendment
A. Based on the findings in Section 1, preceding,
Subsection 3.4.15.0 of Ordinance No. 293 is hereby
amended to add the following conditional use:
1115. Secondhand Stores"
SECTION 3. Effective Date
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days
after its passage.
SECTION 4
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause same to be posted in the duly designated posting
places within the City of San Juan Capistrano within 15 days after
its passage.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of December
1977, by the following vote, to wit -
