REZONE 83-2 (DAVIS DEVELOPMENTS)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 293 BY CHANGING THE
ZONING OF ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NOS. 121-254-06 AND
121-254-07 FROM CM (COMMERCIAL MANUFACTURING)
TO PD (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT (DAVIS
DEVELOPMENTS)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Findings.
The City Council finds that:
The City's Environmental Review Board has reviewed
the subject zone change application, has
determined that the project will have a
significant effect on the environment, has
required the preparation of a Focus Environmental
Impact Report, which has been certified as
adequate, and has otherwise carried out all
requirements of the California Environmental
Quality Act.
The proposed zoning is consistent with the land
use, circulation and other designations shown for
the property in the General Plan. The proposed
zoning is otherwise consistent with the goals and
policies of the General Plan.
The development of the property under the proposed
zoning will conform to the development standards
and other applicable provisions of the Municipal
Code.
4. A duly noticed public hearing has been held to
receive and consider public testimony regarding
the proposed zone change.
SECTION 2. Zone Change.
Based on the findings set forth in Section 1,
preceding, the City Council ordains that the official zoning
heretofore adopted for Assessor's Parcel Nos. 121-254-06 and
121-254-07 on September 17, 1975, by Ordinance No. 293 be changed
from CM (Commercial Manufacturing) to PD (Planned Development).
Said zone change is designated herein as Rezone 83-2 and is more
specifically depicted on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and Exhibit
"B," attached hereto by reference.

291 SECTION 3. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days after its passage.
SECTION 4. City Clerk's Certification.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause same to be posted at the duly designated
posting places within the City of San Juan Capistrano within
fifteen (15) days after its passage.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of
December 1 1983 , by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Friess, Hausdorfer, Buchheim,
Schwartze, and Mayor Bland
