AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 2, CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE
2, SECTIONS 2-2.202 (MEMBERSHIP OF THE ARCHITECTURAL
BOARD OF REVIEW) AND 2-2.302 (MEMBERSHIP OF THE
CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSION) OF THE SAN JUAN
CAPISTRANO MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Amendment.
Title 2, Chapter 2, Article 2 of the San Juan
Capistrano Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2-2.202. Membershi
"The Architectural Board of Review shall consist of
a total of five (5) members."
"Section 2-2.302. Membership.
"The Cultural Heritage Commission shall consist of
a total of five (5) members, two (2) of whom are
not required to be resident electors of the City.
A majority of the current appointed membership
shall constitute a quorum at all meetings. A
quorum shall include two (2) resident electors of
the City."
SECTION 2. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days after its passage.

SECTION 3. City Clerk's Certification.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause same to be posted at the duly designated
posting places within the City of San Juan Capistrano within
fifteen (15) days after its passage.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of
July 1 1983 , by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Friess, Buchheim,
Schwartze, and Mayor Bland
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman HausdoA�ANTHONY
