AMENDMENT TO TITLE 9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE -
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 9-3.101 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
(PD) AND FARM MARKET (FM) DISTRICTS

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Findings.
The City Council finds that:
A. The City's Environmental Review Board has reviewed
the amendment set forth herein, has determined
that the addition of the PD and FM Districts to
the LUC list of zoning districts is an integral
part of the previous amendments establishing said
districts. Therefore, the amendment has already
been reviewed in conjunction with the establishment
of said districts and no further environmental
review is required.
B. This code amendment will add the previously
established PD and FM Districts to the list of
established Land Use Code districts at the beginning
of Chapter 9-3 of the Municipal Code.
C A duly noticed public hearing has been held to
receive and consider public testimony regarding
the proposed amendment.
SECTION 2. Amendment Text.
A. Introduction
Based upon the findings set forth in Section 1,
preceding, the following amendment to the Municipal
Code is hereby enacted:
B. Amendment
Subsection 9-3.101(a) shall be amended to add the
following Base Districts:
"(24) Planned Development District (PD)
"(25) Farm Market District (FM)"
SECTION 3
Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be iri-force thirty
(30) days after its passage.

1 SECTION 4. City Clerk's Certification.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause same to be posted at the duly designated
posting places within the City of San Juan Capistrano within
fifteen (15) days after its passage.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of
September , 1982 , by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Friess, Hausdorfer, Bland,
Schwartze, and Mayor Buchheim
