Ordinance Number 579350 ORDINANCE NO. 579 574 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING THE INTERIM ORDINANCE NO. 574, ESTABLISHING A MORATORIUM ON MINI -MARKET APPROVALS WITHIN THE CITY (URGENCY) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Extension. Pursuant to Government Code Section 65856(a), the City Council hereby finds and determines that it is necessary to extend interim Ordinance No. 574 providing for a moratorium on processing mini -market developments within the City. SECTION 2. Find The City Council, pursuant to Government Code Section 65858(c), finds that there is a current and immediate threat to the public health, safety, and welfare in that the approval of any additional mini -markets would result in a threat to the public health, safety, and welfare. SECTION 3. Period of Extension/Effective Date. Interim Ordinance No. 574 is hereby extended for a period of 10 months and 15 days and is effective upon adoption. SECTION 4. City Clerk's Certification. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published once as required by law and posted at the duly designated posting places within the City of San Juan Capistrano within fifteen (15) days after its passage.
