ORDINANCE NO. 576
AMENDMENT TO TITLE 4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE -
TRUCK OVERLOAD INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 4-6.912 RELATING TO TRUCK
OVERLOAD INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS OF TITLE 4 "PUBLIC
SAFETY" OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA,
HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Municipal Code Section 4-6.912 entitled "Insurance and
Bonds" of Title 4 "Public Safety" of the Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read in its entirety as follows:
"Section 4-6.912. Insurance
"The applicant shall furnish to the City an insurance
certificate providing for liability insurance coverage to the
applicant and to the City which shall be named as an additional
named insured. The liability insurance coverage shall be in an
amount approved by the office of the City Attorney."
SECTION 2. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days after its passage.
SECTION 3. City Clerk's Certification.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published once as required by
law and posted at the duly designated posting places within the
City of San Juan Capistrano within fifteen (15) days after its
passage.
