EXTENDING ORDINANCE NO. 568 - ESTABLISHING

FOR THE VIA PASTORAL AREA
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING INTERIM ORDINANCE NO. 568,
ESTABLISHING A MORATORIUM ON SUBDIVISION MAP
APPROVALS FOR A CERTAIN DESIGNATED AREA ZONED
(ES), SMALL ESTATE (VIA PASTORAL)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA,
HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Extension.
Pursuant to Government Code Section 65856(a), the City
Council hereby finds and determines that it is necessary to
extend Interim Ordinance No. 568 providing for a moratorium on
subdivision map approvals for that certain designated area zoned
ES, more specifically identified in the site plan attached to
Ordinance No. 568.
SECTION 2. Findings.
The City Council, pursuant to Government Code Section
65858(c), finds that there is a current and immediate threat to
the public health, safety and welfare in that the approval of any
additional subdivision maps would result in a threat to the
public health, safety and welfare.
SECTION 3. Period of Extension.
Interim Ordinance No. 568 is hereby extended for a
period of 10 months and 15 days.
SECTION 4. City Clerk's Certification.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and cause the same to be published once as required by
law and posted at the duly designated posting places within the
City of San Juan Capistrano within fifteen (15) days after its
passage.

June , 1986.
