AMENDMENT TO TITLE 9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE -
VESTING TENTATIVE MAPS
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 9-4.505 ENTITLED "VESTING
TENTATIVE MAPS" OF TITLE 9 ENTITLED "LAND USE" OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Code Amendment.
Subsection 9-4.505(a) of Section 9-4.505, entitled "Vesting Tentative Maps," of
Title 9, "Land Use," of the Municipal Code, is hereby amended to read as follows:
119-4.505(a). Purpose and Basis for Vesting Tentative Maps.
"Pursuant to the requirements of Government Code Section 66428, whenever
there is required to be filed the filing of a tentative map or tentative parcel map for any
subdivision of land, a vesting tentative map may instead be filed in accordance with the
provisions of this section.
"The effect of the vesting tentative map shall be to secure certain rights to the
development of any subdivision of land for which a development is proposed upon the
filing and approval of a vesting tentative map."

SECTION 2. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days after its
