Ordinance Number 629219 ORDINANCE NO. 629 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING INTERIM ORDINANCE NO. 625 ESTABLISHING RESTRICTIONS ON DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS FOR EQUESTRIAN USES, OR ADDITIONS THERETO, PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 65858 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Interim Ordinance No. 625 hereby extended. Pursuant to Government Code Section 65858(c), the City Council hereby extends Interim Ordinance No. 625 for a period of 10 months and 15 days. SECTION 2. Findings. The City Council finds that the extension of Interim Ordinance No. 625 is necessary to protect the public health, safety, and welfare in that the processing of applications for new commercial equestrian uses, or additions thereto, will cause such potential problems as increased odor, noise, dust, parking, light glare and traffic congestion on adjacent properties, pending the outcome of the zoning study described in Ordinance No. 625. SECTION 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect immediately. SECTION 4. City Clerk's Certification. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published once as required by law and posted at the duly designated posting places within the City of San Juan Capistrano within fifteen (15) days after its passage. 1988.
