PARKING RESTRICTIONS - TRAILERS
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 4-6.319 OF CHAPTER 6 OF
TITLE 4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE (PARKING RESTRICTIONS -
TRAILERS)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Municipal Code Section 4-6.319 entitled "Trailers" of Chapter 6 "Traffic,"
Title 4 "Public Safety," is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Section 4-6.319. Trailers.
"It shall be unlawful at any time for any person to stop, stand, or park any
trailer on any street in the City, excepting:
"A) The parking of trailers attached to motorized
vehicles for loading and unloading purposes during
daylight hours; and,
"B) The parking of trailers detached from motorized
vehicles for a temporary period of two (2) hours or
less.
"The provisions of this section shall apply to trailers of all sizes and dimensions,
including, but not limited to, travel trailers, utility trailers, boat trailers,
trailer coaches, and all other trailers, including those defined in Vehicle Code
Sections 242, 550, 630, 635, and 666.
"Whenever any trailer is parked or left standing upon any street in violation of
this section, such trailer may be removed by persons so authorized pursuant to
Section 22651 of the Vehicle Code."
SECTION 2. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days after its

SECTION 3. City Clerk's Certification.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the
same to be published once as required by law and posted at the duly designated posting
places within the City of San Juan Capistrano within fifteen (15) days after its passage.
