AMENDING TITLE 7 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE - PERMIT ISSUANCE FEES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 7-3.06 AND SECTION
7-6.07 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED "PERMIT:
ISSUANCE: FEES."
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA, DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Amendment.
A. Municipal Code Section 7-3.06 is hereby amended in its entirety to read
as follows:
"Section 7-3.06. Permits: Issuance: Fees.
"Except as otherwise set forth in this chapter, each application for a permit
required by the provisions of this chapter shall be accompanied by an issuance fee. The
amount of this fee is to be set by resolution of the City Council of the City of San Juan
Capistrano. Such fee shall be for the purpose of defraying the cost of processing the
application for such permit, and no part of such fee shall be returned regardless of the
disposition of the application."
B. Municipal Code Section 7-6.07 is hereby amended in its entirety to read
as follows:
"Section 7-6.07

SECTION 2. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days after its

SECTION 3. City Clerk's Certification.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the
same to be published once as required by law and posted at the duly designated posting
places within the City of San Juan Capistrano within fifteen (15) days after its passage.
