SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
Mayor Uso called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at
4:03 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
ROLL CALL
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Sam Allevato, Tom Hribar, Mark Nielsen,
Mayor pro tem Laura Freese and Mayor Uso
COUNCIL MEM BERSIDI RECTORS ABSENT: None
PUBLIC COMMENT: None
CLOSED SESSION (610.85)
A Closed Session was held for the following purposes, as authorized by statute:
a. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c), the City Council conferred
with legal counsel pertaining to one potential item for initiation of litigation.
b. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8, the City Council met with its
Real Property Negotiator (City Manager) concerning the price and terms of
payment for the purchase, sale, exchange or lease of certain real property known
as 33302 & 33332 Valle. Road, in the City of San Juan Capistrano, California.
The property owner is Pacific Western Bank.
c. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a), the City Council conferred
with legal counsel pertaining to existing litigation in the matter of Scalzo vs. City
of San Juan Capistrano.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLOSED SESSION ACTIONS:
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, Mayor Uso adjourned the meeting at 6:00 p.m. to
Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. for a Long TermNision Strategic Workshop
(Special Meeting); and then to Thursday, January 28, 2010 at
6:00 p.m. for a public Business Session (Special Meeting); and then to
Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. for Closed Session, and 6:30 p.m. for the
public Business Session, in the City Council Chamber.
