JUNE 23, 1965
The Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council was called to order by
Mayor Don Durnford at 7:43 P.M.
Councilmen present were: Carl E. Buchheim, Edward S. Chermak, Antonio
M. (Tony) Olivares and Don Durnford. Councilmen absent: William A. Bathgate.
The City Clerk submitted a preliminary draft of the 1965_1966 projected
budget reflecting items of anticipated revenues and estimates of expenditures
for the perusal and execution and administration of City business and projects
for the ensuing fiscal year.
The City Council went immediately into the initial review in consideration
of all items listed with respect to the various facets of revenues and expenditures.
Upon consideration of the projected format relating to the municipal
sewer revenues and expenditures, the City Council deferred any further consider-
ation until T. J. Meadows, Director of Public Works, could be in attendance to
amplify the figures reflected and to answer any inquiry the various individual
Councilmen might have.
At 10:10 P.M., Councilman William A. Bathgate arrived and there was a
recapitulation of items discussed thus far with an attitude of unanimous concur -
ranee and/or possible acceptance for approval those items previously reviewed
and discussed.
The meeting adjourned at 11:02 P.M.
