regarding closing of a railroad crossing at airfield location.
It was suggested that a member of council should represent City at
said public hearing.
Item #5. Amendment to Ordinance No. 34 for subdivision signs;
John Dawson, City Attorney, read Ordinance No. 89 "An Ordinance of
the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano amending Ordinance No.
34 relating to signs and Declaring the Urgency Thereof" in full.
u Councilman Durnford offered resolution for adopting Ordinance No. 89.
The resolution was passed, approved and adopted by a unanimous vote.
Item #6. Harbor Security:
Deferred action until City Attorney prepares Ordinance in accordance
with Orange County Ordinance No's 510 and 514, as codified.
Item #7. Meeting April 21, 1964, at 7:30 P. M. to canvass ballots
of General Municipal Election held April 14, 1964.
Councilman Durnford moved meeting be adjourned until 7:30 P. M.,
Wednesday, April 22, 1964. Councilman Buchheim seconded the motion and it
carried unanimously. So ordered.

The City Council met at 7:35 P. M. on Tuesday, April 21, 1964, to canvass
the returns of the General Municipal Election held April 14, 1964, in accord-
ance with Sections 22932 and 22933 of the Elections Code, State of California.
Councilmen present: Carl E. Buchheim, Don Durnford and William A.
Bathgate. Councilmen absent: Eric F. Cliff and Antonio M. (Tony) Olivares.
Upon completion of the canvassing and before installing the new members,
the council adopted a Resolution No. 64-4-21-1 in accordance with the
appropriate sections of the Elections Code.
