No further action was taken until each councilman submits a name for
consideration.
Councilman Buchheim moved to adjourn the meeting until 7:30 P. M.,
Monday, April 20, 1964. Motion seconded and so ordered.
Adjournment was at 11:07 P. M.

Minutes of the Regularly Adjourned Meeting of the City Council of San Juan Capistrano
APRIL 20, 1964
The meeting was called to order at 7:38 P. M., by Mayor William A.
Bathgate.
The City Clerk called the roll: Councilmen present were: Carl E.
Buchheim, Don Durnford, and William A. Bathgate. Councilmen absent were:
Eric F. Cliff and Antonio M. (Tony) Olivares.
Item #1. Camino Del Avion Annexation:
John Dawson, City Attorney, recommended that City Council pass
resolution stating there were "No Major Protests" during the public hearing.
Further proposed that matter of annexation be completed prior to a deadline
of May 22, 1964.
Councilman Buchheim offered resolution that there were no protests at
time of public hearing on Camino Del Avion Annexation. The resolution was
passed, approved and adopted by a unanimous vote.
Item #2. Set date for public hearing for abandonment of portion of
Rosenbaum Road:
Councilman Durnford added to his Resolution No. 64-4-13-1 that
public hearing be set for Monday, May 11, 1964, at 8:00 P. M.
Item #3• Planning Commission recommendation for set backs on Fisher &
Lester property - Amendment to Land Use Variance No. 63-116:
Councilman Buchheim made motion to uphold recommendation of Planning
Commission that Variance No. 63-116 be amended to remove the requirement for
the installation of gutter on southeave of proposed building and also to
permit north side yard set back be reduced to zero (0) feet instead of two (2)
feet. Councilman Durnford seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
So ordered.
