Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the City Council of San Juan Capistrano

The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order at 7:45 P.M., by
Mayor William A. Bathgate.
The pledge of allegiance -ryas recited. The invocation was given by Ernest A.
Thompson, City Clerk.
The Citv Clerk c, lied the roll: Councilmen present were: Carl E. Buchheim, -
Don Durnford, Antonio M. (Tony) Olivares, and William A. Bathgate. Councilmen
absent: Eric F. Cliff.
The minutes of the previous meeting held July 22, 1.963, were annroved as sub-
mitted.
With deference to the items placed on the agenda, Councilman Durnford mnde a
motion recognizing and respecting the recent death of the wife of Councilmen Eric
F. Cliff, to adjourn the meeting until Monday, August 19, 1963, at 7:30 P.M. The
motion passed and so ordered.
