June 25, 1962
The meeting of the City Council was called to order at 7:37 P.M.,
by Don Durnford, Mayor pro tem.
The invocation was incited by 14r. John H. Dawson.
Pledge of allegiance to the flag was riven
The Cit=, Clerk called the roll. Councilmen present we -e dilliam A.
I-lathrate, !sric i'. Cliff, Don Durnford, and Antonio ('Tony) 11. Olivares.
Councilmen abient: Carl E. 3uchheim.
The minutes of the meeting held June 11, 1952, were approved as
submitted.
WRITTEN 001TIUNICATIONS:
1. Letter received from the Orange County League of Cities announ-
cing the date, time, and place of the general meeting for the month of
June.
2. Letter from Mr. Jack Y. Kubota, 2965 Roosevelt Street, Carlsbad,
California stating his interest in performing engineering service for
the City.
The City Clerk was directed to contact Mr. Kubota to rake a ners)n-
al appearance before the City Council.
3. TheK.E.C. Company submitted a letter of request for the "ity
Council to consider the business license ,just ohstained as a job business
license to cover the seven month n=:riod of the co:itract rather than be
required to obtain a renewal of the business license July 1.
