Resolution was accepted and adopted, with Mayor Buchheim casting
a 'NO' vote.
2. Councilman Durnford offered a resolution of the City Council
requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange to permit
the County Clerk to render specified services to the City, relating to
the conduct of a General Municipal Election to be held April 10, 1962.
Resolution was adopted unanimously.
3. Councilman Durnford offered a resolution of the City Council,
authorizing certain of its members to file a written argument for the
measure appearing on the ballot in the General Municipal Election to be
held April 10, 1962.
Resolution accepted and adopted favorably, except with Mayor Buchheim
abstaining.
4. Councilman Chermak offered a resolution of the City Council,
finding that Public interest requires the formation of the San Juan
Capistrano Municipal Sewer District No. 1, and fixing and determining
the boundaries.
Resolution accepted and adopted unanimously.
5• In view of a scheduled time element, the City Administrator
was instructed to contact Mr. Joe Feeney, of Engineering Science, and
inquire as to the terms, conditions, costs, time schedule, relative to
the proposod sewer plant improvement project.
A motion was made, seconded and carried the endorsement of Engine-
ering Science as engineers to proceed with plans and specifications as
soon as notified.
There were no recorLaed recommendations and reports from the City
Council or other City officials except that the meeting should be ad-
journed until 6:30 P.M., Friday, February 16, 1962, in order to handle
certain matters pertaining to the Sewer District.
Meeting adjourned at 11:35,P.M, until February 16, 1962 at 6:30 P.M.
