Councilman Buchheim made a motion to utilize the same method for approving
the proposed budget for fiscal year 1967-68. Motion was seconded by Councilman
Bathgate and passed by unanimous vote.
Further discussion followed relative to factors listed in the proposed budget.
Personnel salaries were discussed to the specifics of four (4) positions, due
a merit increase as of July 1, 1967. Those positions were: (1) City Administrator;
(2) Director of Finance; (3) Associate Planner; and (4) Steno -Secretary.
On motion of Councilman Durnford, duly seconded by Councilman Buchheim, the
merit increase for these four positions was approved; however, the classification
of Associate Planner be reviewed to become a position of Planning Director. The
motion carried by unanimous vote.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 8:05 PM.
