FEBRUARY 16, 1966
The Special Meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Don
Durnford at 6:00 PM.
The pledge of allegiance was recited. The City Clerk called the roll. Council-
men present: Carl E. Buchheim, Edward S. Chermak, Antonio M. (Tony) Olivares and
Don Durnford. Absent: Councilman William A. Bathgate.
Public Works Director, T. J. Meadows, related the situation of installing
pipeline facilities for Sewer Assessment District No. 64-1 wherein it was most
practical to consider the closing of Ganado Drive to afford outright removal of
materials by bull -dozing and trenching to permit installation of the pipeline
facility.
On a motion of Councilman Buchheim, duly seconded by Councilman Chermak,
Colich Construction Company was permitted to close Ganado Drive beginning at 6:00 AM
Thursday, February 17, 1966, for a period of five (5) working days, yet not to
exceed 5:00 PM, Friday, February 25, 1966. The motion was passed by a unanimous
vote.
The meeting adjourned at 6:18 PM.
