MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
Mayor Edward S. Chermak called the special meeting to order at 5:11 P.M.
Those councilmen present were: William A. Bathgate, Don Durnford, Thomas A.
(Tony) Forster, Antonio M. (Tony) Olivares and Edward S. Chermak.
T. J. Meadows and Jack Y. Kubota were also present in order to give
supplement to the submittal of a memorandum that gave basis for the called
meeting.
Mr. Meadows related the factors contained in the memorandum as they pertain
to the proposed mobilehome park in the adjacent unincorporated area for possible
annexation, the consideration of fees to be paid, and the anticipated payment
of bond redemption if the property had been within the corporate limits of the
City.
Discussion followed with comments about comparative fee schedules, annexation
of the Honsberger property to the City of San Juan Capistrano. The resolution
containing the provisional conditions that - (a) the property owner/applicant
initiate the annexation proceedings, (b) there be no reduction in sewer connec-
tion fee schedule, and (c) annexation fees be paid in an amount calculated for
bond redemption, as though the property had been within the corporate limits
of the City, passed by a unanimous vote - subject to draft approval.
The meeting adjourned at 6:06 P.M.
