SPECIAL MEETING -CITY COUNCIL -CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
A special meeting of the City Council was called to order by
Mayor Pro Tem Josh Gammell at 6:38 p.m.
Roll Call: Councilmen Present: Roy L. Byrnes, Edward S.
Chermak, Josh Gammell
and James K. Weathers
Councilmen Absent: James F. Thorpe
Mayor Pro Tem Gammell stated the purpose of this meeting
was to consider adoption of the following resolution:
Resolution No. 72-7-18-1. Establishing Voting Precincts,
Polling Places, Appointing Election Officers and Fixing
the Compensation of Election Officers for the Submission
to the Qualified Voters a Question Relating to the
Establishment of a Department of Public Safety and a
Proposal for a Special Parks Tax Rate on August 22, 1972.
Councilman Weathers read the above title in full.
Moved by Councilman Weathers, seconded by Councilman Byrnes,
and unanimously carried, that Resolution No. 72-7-18-1 be adopted.
Mayor Pro Tem Gammell declared the meeting adjourned at
6:40 p.m.
