• ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA
The Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council was called to
order by Mayor Weathers at 7:00 P.M. in the City Council Chamber.
ROLL CALL: COUNCILMEN PRESENT:

COUNCILMEN•ABSENT: John B. Sweeney, Mayor pro tem,

STAFF PRESENT: James S. Mocalis, City Manager; William D. Murphy, 1
Director of Public Works/City Engineer; George Lohnes, Associate
Civil Engineer; John O'Sullivan, Director of Administrative Services.
1975-76 PROPOSED BUDGET AND
FISCAL AND COMMUNITY SERVICES PROGRAM
Council continued their consideration of the proposed 1975-76
fiscal budget, as follows:
PLANNING DEPARTMENT BUDGET
Council commented that the Study of Recreation Facilities in
Planned Unit Developments should be a part of the Recreation
Program. The City Manager indicated that the Planning Depart-
ment and the Recreation Coordinator will work together on the study.
PUBLIC WORKS. BUDGET SUMMARY
With regard to Street Maintenance, Line 21, Page 53, staff was
directed to insert -the words "City -owned" between the words "all"
and "streets."
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT -
BUILDING GROUNDS h INTENKNCE (ACCOUNT 50)
The following items were deleted from the proposed budget:
(1) Council voting lights and (2) Hot Air Hand Dryers.
BUDGET INFORMATION
Council requested the following:
(1) A survey of auto reimbursement policies for department heads.
(2) A schedule of actual overtime vs. budgeted overtime for ^+
fiscal year 1974-75.
(3) A schedule of utility costs for the entire City operation
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Council, the meeting
was adjourned at 9:40 P.M. to the next meeting date of Monday,
August 25, 1975, at 7:00 P.M. in the City Council Chamber for
continuation of budget discussions.
