ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL, CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
The Adjourned Regular iMceting of the City Council was called to order
by Mayor Byrnes at 9:00 A.M., Saturday, August 24, 1974, at the
Colony Kitchen Restaurant, 27142 Ortega Highway, San Juan Capistrano.
ROLL CALL: COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Roy L. Byrnes, Mayor
James K. Weathers, Mayor pro tem
Councilman Douglas B. Nash
Councilman John B. Sweeney
COUNCILMEN ABSENT: Councilman Yvon O. Heckscher,
who joined the meeting at
9:10 A.M.
STAFF PRESENT: Donald G. Weidner, City Manager; William Murphy,
Director of Public Works/City Engineer; James Okazaki, City Attorney;
John O'Sullivan, Director of Administrative Servies; David Smith,
Director of Planning; Mary Ann Hanover, City Clerk.
COUNCIL/STAFF BREAKFAST MEETING
This meeting was called for the purpose of discussion between members
of the City Council and department heads of Council -Staff functions,
relationships, and staff performance and staff's performance in the
area of responsiveness and sensitivity to public needs. There was
also discussion of Council philosophy and the Prima Deshecha recreation/
disposal site access routes.
ADJOURNMENT T
There bci.ng no further business before the Council, the meeting was
adjourned at 10:40 A.M. to the next Regular ;Meeting date of Wednesday,
September 4, 1974, at 7:00 P.M. in the City Council Chamber.
