ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
The adjourned regular meeting of the City Council was called to order
by Mayor Byrnes at 7:04 P.M. in the Council Chamber of City Hall.
ROLL CALL: COUNCILMEN PRESENT: Roy L. Byrnes, Mayor
James K. Weathers, Mayor pro tem
Councilman Yvon O. fleckscher
Councilman John B. Sweeney
Councilman Douglas B. Nash
COUNCILMEN ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Donald G. Weidner, City Manager; George Madsen,
Sr. Project Engineer; William Murphy, Director of Public Works;
John O'Sullivan, Director of Finance; David Smith, Director of
Planning.
DISCUSSION OF 1974-75 PROPOSED BUDGET AND FISCAL AND
COMMUNITY SERVICES PROGRAM
Review of the proposed 1974-75 budget was continued with examination
and discussion of the proposed budget for City Council, followed by
proposed budgets for Administration, City Clerk, and Administrative
Services.
RECESS AND RECONVENE
Council recessed at 8:20 P.M. and reconvened at 8:27 P.M.
CONTINUATION OF -BUDGET DISCUSSION
Budget study continued with review of the Payroll Burden, Community
Promotion, Police, Planning, and Planning Commission Budgets. It was move
by Councilman Weathers, seconded by Councilman Sweeney and unanimously
carried to increase the Planning Commissioners' salaries from $50.00
to $75.00 per month effective .July 1, 1974.
Budget study concluded with a review of the Parks and Recreation
Commission budget.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Council, the meeting was
adjourned at 9:33 P.M. to the next meeting date of Wednesday, June 12,
1974, at 7:00 P.M. in the City Council Chamber.
