SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA
The Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of San Juan
Capistrano, California, was called to order by Mayor Bland at
6:01 p.m., in the City Council Chamber.
ROLL CALL PRESENT: Anthony L. Bland, Mayor
Gary L. Hausdorfer, Mayor pro tem
Lawrence F. Buchheim, Councilman
ABSENT: Kenneth E. Friess, Councilman
Phillip R. Schwartze, Councilman
STAFF PRESENT: Stephen B. Julian, City Manager; Mary Ann
Hanover, City Clerk.
CLOSED SESSION
Council recessed to Closed Session at 6:02 p.m., for discussion
of legal matters, the City Clerk being excused therefrom, and
reconvened at 6:45 p.m.
COUNCIL ACTIONS
(73) Acquisition of Properties
It was moved by Councilman Hausdorfer, seconded by
Councilman Buchheim to authorize the City Manager to proceed
with the acquisition of certain properties. With the
concurrence of the second, the motion was amended to
additionally authorize the City Manager to work with the
City Attorney regarding any legal issues, and the motion
carried by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Hausdorfer, Buchheim,
and Mayor Bland
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmen Friess and Schwartze

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Council, the meeting
was adjourned at 6:46 p.m., to the next meeting date of Tuesday,
August 16, 1983, at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chamber.
