ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIFORNIA
The Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano,
California, was called to order by Mayor Jones at 7:00 p.m., in the San Juan Hot Springs
Dance Hall to conduct a joint public hearing with the Community Redevelopment Agency
relative to the 1992-97 Fiscal Budget.

Director of Planning; Al King, Director of Community Services; Ron Sievers, Director of
Public Lands and Facilities.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

Written Communications
1 Report dated June 23, 1992, from the Assistant City Manager, advising that
the proposed City budget reflected a deficit of $51,479; the proposed Agency
budget was balanced as presented. The June 9, 1992, staff report was included
for information. Adoption of the 1992-97 operating budgets was scheduled for
the adjourned regular meeting of June 30, 1992.
Councilman Friess stated that the City's neighborhood preservation program has
been successful and is held as a model for other cities. There was a general
consensus with his suggestion that staff work to assure support of the Neighborhood
Preservation Program and make every effort to find funds to additionally
supplement the program in order to continue dealing with those types of issues.
Continuation of Public Hearing:
Notice having been given as required by law, Mayor Jones opened the Joint Public
Hearing and, there being no response, with the consensus of Council, Mayor Jones
directed that the Public Hearing be continued to the next meeting date of June 30,
1992.

DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
1. OPEN SPACE MASTER PLAN CHANGE ORDER (URBAN DESIGN
Written Communications:
Report dated June 23, 1992, from the Director of Administrative Services,
recommending approval of a change order for preparation of alternative 6, 6A and
6B, the "Shared -Use Plan" for the Kinoshita Farm and the integration of the
alternative into the Open Space Master Plan with minor adjustments for
miscellaneous expenses and labor.
Approval of Change Order:
It was moved by Councilman Friess, seconded by Councilman Hausdorfer and
unanimously carried to approve the change order to Urban Design Group in the
amount of $11,667.77 for preparation of alternates 6, 6A and 6B to the Open Space
Master Plan.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Council, the meeting was adjourned at 7:05
p.m., to the next meeting date of Tuesday, June 30, 1992, at 7:00 p.m., in the City
Council Chamber.
