The Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of San Juan Capistrano, California was called to
order by Mayor pro tem Hart at 12:07 p.m., in the City Council Chamber, to convene a Closed
Session related to the anticipated litigation, pursuant to Government Code Section 95456.9(c), the
initiation of litigation in 1 case.
ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Wyatt Hart, Mayor pro tem
Collene Campbell, Council Member
David Swerdlin, Council Member
ABSENT: Carolyn Nash, Mayor
Gil Jones, Council Member
STAFF PRESENT: George Scarborough, City Manager; Richard K. Denhalter, City Attorney; Dawn

CLOSED SESSION
Council convened in Closed Session at 12:10 p.m., for the following purpose, as authorized by
statute:
Conference with Legal Counsel - Anticipated Litigation, pursuant to Government Code
Section 54956.9(b), for significant exposure to litigation in 2 cases and Government Code
Section 95456.9(c), the initiation of litigation in 2 cases.
The Deputy City Clerk was excused from the Closed Session and the meeting reconvened at 1:15
p.m.

There being no further business before the Council, the meeting was adjourned at 1:16 p.m. to the
