SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO CITY COUNCIL
Adjourned Regular Meeting
Meg Monahan, City Clerk, called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of
the City of San Juan Capistrano to order at 2:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber. She
announced that the meeting would recess until 3:00 p.m.
RECESS UNTIL 3:00 P.M.
Mayor Gelff reconvened the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council at 3:01 p.m.
in the City Council Chamber.
ROLL CALL
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Wyatt Hart, Diane Bathgate, David M. Swerdlin,
Mayor pro tem Joe Soto, and Mayor John S. Gelff.
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Meg Monahan, City Clerk
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None
CLOSED SESSION (610.85)
Pursuant to Government Code section 54957, the City Council held a closed session
concerning the vacant City Manager position.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLOSED SESSION
At 4:50 p.m., the meeting was reconvened in the Council Chamber. Mayor Gelff
announced that no actions were taken during Closed Session.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor Gelff adjourned the meeting at 4:15 p.m. to
Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at 5:00 p.m., for Closed Session and 7:00 p.m. for the
public Business Session.
