SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO CITY COUNCIL
Adjourned Regular Meeting
Mayor Gelff called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of San
Juan Capistrano, California, to order at 5:02 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
ROLL CALL
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Wyatt Hart, David M. Swerdlin, Mayor pro tem Joe
Soto, and Mayor John S. Gelff.
Council Member Bathgate joined the meeting at 5:10 p.m.
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Pam Gibson, Interim City Manager; Meg Monahan, City Clerk was
present for Roll Call only.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None
CLOSED SESSION (610.85)
Pursuant to Government Code section 54957, the City Council held a closed session
concerning the vacant City Manager position.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLOSED SESSION
At 7:15 p.m., the meeting was reconvened in the lobby of City Hall. Mayor Gelff
announced that no actions were taken during Closed Session.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Mayor Gelff adjourned the meeting at 7:20 p.m. to a
Regular meeting, Tuesday, October 21 2003, at 5:30 p.m. for Closed Session and 7:00
p.m. for the Public Business Session in the City Council Chamber.
