Chairman Soto called the Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of the San Juan
Capistrano Community Redevelopment Agency to order at 9:00 p.m.

BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: None

Shaw, Agency Council; and Eileen White, Recording Secretary.

CONSENT CALENDAR
Board Action: Moved by Director Swerdlin, seconded by Director Allevato, and carried
unanimously, 5-0, to approve items 1 & 2 as recommended by staff.
1. MINUTES OF THE APRIL 18, 2006 MEETING APPROVED AS SUBMITTED.
2. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE WARRANTS DATED APRIL 27, 2006, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $53,840.57, RECEIVED AND FILED. (300.30)
BOARD ACTIONS
1. PERSONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH MDM & ASSOCIATES TO
PROVIDE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE AGENCY'S
RENTAL SUBSIDY PROGRAM APPROVED. (600.40)
Description: Saddleback Community Outreach (SCO) has had an agreement
with the Agency to provide property management services for the Rental Subsidy
Program for the last several years and has elected not to extend the agreement
so they could pursue other goals. MDM and Associates (MDM) is currently
' performing the property management services for the Little Hollywood affordable
rental units and submitted a bid at staffs request to assume property
management and administration of the Rental Subside Program. Staff

recommended the Agency approve an agreement in an amount not to exceed
$32,300 annually with MDM & Associates to provide property management
services for the Community Development Agency's Rental Subsidy Program, and
authorize the Chairman to execute the agreement.
Written Communication: Report dated May 16, 2006, by Lynnette Adolphson,
Management Analyst II.
Council Action: Moved by Director Bathgate, seconded by Director Allevato
and carried unanimously, 5-0, to approve a Personal Services Agreement with
MDM & Associates, in an amount not to exceed $32,300, to provide property
management services for the Agency's Rental Subsidy Program; and authorize
the Chairman to execute the agreement.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chairman Soto adjourned the meeting at 9:04 p.m. to
Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at 5:30 p.m. for Closed Session, and 7:00 p.m., for the Public
Business Session, in the City Council Chamber.
