Vice Chairman Bathgate called the Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of the San
Juan Capistrano Community Redevelopment Agency to order at 7:33 p.m. in the City
Council Chamber.

CONSENT CALENDAR
Board Action: Moved by Director Gelff, seconded by Director Hart and carried
unanimously, 5-0, to approve Consent Calendar item 2.
1. MINUTES FROM THE REGULAR MEETING OF AUGUST 21, 2001
APPROVED AS SUBMITTED.
Board Action: Moved by Director Gelff, seconded by Director Hart, with
abstention by Director Campbell, and carried 4-0-1, to approve Consent
Calendar item 1: City Council Minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 21,
2001.

BOARD ACTIONS
1. VICE CHAIRMAN BATHGATE WAS APPOINTED AS CHAIRMAN; COUNCIL
MEMBER CAMPBELL APPOINTED AS VICE CHAIRMAN OF THE
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (400.10)
Description: The position of Chairman of the Community Redevelopment
Agency is currently vacant due to the resignation of former Chairman Greiner.
Written Communications: Report dated September 18, 2001 by Cristi J.
Silverberg.
Board Action: Moved by Director Campbell, seconded by Director Gelff and
carried unanimously, 5-0, to elect Vice Chairman Bathgate as Chairman of the
Community Redevelopment Agency.
Board Action: Moved by Director Swerdlin, seconded by Director Gelff and
carried unanimously, 5-0, to elect Director Campbell as Vice Chairman of the
Community Redevelopment Agency.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chairman Bathgate adjourned the meeting at 7:35
p.m. to Tuesday, October 2, 2001, in the City Council Chamber.
