SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO HOUSING AUTHORITY
SPECIAL MEETING
BUSINESS SESSION:
Chair Hart called the October 18, 2022, Special Meeting of the San Juan Capistrano
Housing Authority to order at 6:20 p.m.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chair Howard Hart, Vice-Chair Sergio Farias and
Commissioners Troy Bourne, Derek Reeve, and John Taylor.
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: None.
Agenda items are presented in the originally agendized format for the benefit of the
minutes’ reader but were not necessarily heard in that order.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
Commission Action: Moved by Commissioner Reeve, seconded by Commissioner Taylor,
and carried unanimously to approve consent calendar item B1.
B1. MOTION FINDING THAT CONDUCTING TELEPHONIC/VIRTUAL MEETINGS
AS ALLOWED PER ASSEMBLY BILL 361, PROMOTES SOCIAL DISTANCING
DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, APPROVED
BOARD ACTIONS:
C1. SJCHA RESOLUTION NO. 22-10-18-01 ADOPTED ENTITLED “A RESOLUTION
OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
HOUSING AUTHORITY APPROVING A DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO AND JAMBOREE
HOUSING CORPORATION FOR THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
(PORTION OF APN 668-101-23) AND DEVELOPMENT OF REAL PROPERTY
(APN 668-101-23)” (600.30)
Ken Al-Imam, Chief Financial Officer, provided an agenda report.
Commission Action: Moved by Commissioner Taylor, seconded by Commissioner
Reeve, and carried unanimously to adopt SJCHA RESOLUTION NO.
22-10-18-01 entitled “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO HOUSING AUTHORITY APPROVING A
DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF SAN
JUAN CAPISTRANO AND JAMBOREE HOUSING CORPORATION FOR THE
SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY (PORTION OF APN 668-101-23) AND
DEVELOPMENT OF REAL PROPERTY (APN 668-101-23).”

There being no further business, Chair Hart adjourned the meeting at 6:23 p.m. to
Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. for the public Business Session, in the
City Council Chamber.
