SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO HOUSING AUTHORITY
REGULAR MEETING
BUSINESS SESSION:
Chair Hart called the October 4, 2022, Regular Meeting of the San Juan Capistrano
Housing Authority to order at 7:09 p.m.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chair Howard Hart, Vice-Chair Sergio Farias and
Commissioners Derek Reeve, and John Taylor.
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Troy Bourne.
Agenda items are presented in the originally agendized format for the benefit of the
minutes’ reader but were not necessarily heard in that order.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
Commission Action: Moved by Commissioner Reeve, seconded by Commissioner Taylor,
and carried 4-0 with Commissioner Bourne absent to approve consent calendar items B1
through B3, as recommended by staff.
B1. MOTION FINDING THAT CONDUCTING TELEPHONIC/VIRTUAL MEETINGS
AS ALLOWED PER ASSEMBLY BILL 361, PROMOTES SOCIAL DISTANCING
DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, APPROVED
B2. HOUSING AUTHORITY MINUTES – REGULAR MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 6,
2022, APPROVED
B3. CHECK REGISTERS FOR THE PERIOD FROM AUGUST 12, 2022, TO
SEPTEMBER 8, 2022, RECEIVED AND FILED (300.30)
BOARD ACTIONS: None.
BOARD COMMENTS: None.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, Chair Hart adjourned the meeting at 7:10 p.m. to
Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. for the public Business Session, in the
City Council Chamber.
