SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
' Mayor Taylor called the June 15, 2021, Special Meeting of the City Council to order at
3:12 p.m., in the City Council Chamber.
ROLL CALL
COUNCIL MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE: Mayor John Taylor, Mayor Pro Tem Derek
Reeve, and Council Members Howard Hart, Troy Bourne and Sergio Farias.
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: None.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS/CORRESPONDENCE/PUBLIC COMMENT ON CLOSED
SESSION ITEMS: None.
CLOSED SESSION (610.85)
A Closed Session was held for the following purposes, as authorized by statute:
a. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, the City Council conducted a
performance evaluation of the City Manager.
b. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957, the City Council conducted a
performance evaluation of the City Attorney.

C. Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 (a), (d)(2), the
City Council conferred with Legal Counsel to discuss anticipated litigation —
significant exposure to litigation (5 items).
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLOSED SESSION ACTIONS: Mayor Taylor recused himself
from one of the items under Closed Session Item C, due to proximity to his residence.
Council Member Hart recused himself from one of the items under Closed Session.
ADJOURNMENT:
Therel being no further business, Mayor Taylor adjourned the meeting to Tuesday,
Jure P5, �j02r, at 5:00 p.m. for a Public Business Session, in the City Council Chamber.
